HOW MUCH WAS THE MINIMUM WAGE IN 2025?

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced the minimum wage that will be valid in the new year. As of January 1, 2025, the minimum wage will be 22,104 lira. With this result, the minimum wage will have increased by 30 percent in total.

HOW MUCH IS THE GROSS MINIMUM WAGE?

The net minimum wage to be implemented in 2025 will be 22 thousand 104 TL and the gross wage will be 26 thousand 5 TL.

The employer cost of the new minimum wage was 30 thousand 556 TL.

MINIMUM WAGE IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS

The minimum wage is normally announced once a year. However, an interim increase was made in July in 2022-2023.

Minimum wage figures for the last five years are as follows:

• 2020: 2 thousand 324 lira
• 2021: 2 thousand 825 lira
• January 2022: 4 thousand 253 lira
• July 2022: 5,500 lira
• January 2023: 8 thousand 506 lira
• July 2023: 11 thousand 402 liras
• January 2024: 17 thousand 2 lira
• January 2025: 22 thousand 104 lira
